If anyone wants to meet a Gaelic Princess, a true gem of the Emerald Isle look no further than the sweet young lady who writes this blog! Today August 5th 2017 my wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Dixie on the beach at Tokeland Washington. Her graciousness her politeness her sweet demeanor impressed two old fuddie duddies like us. She was just so sweet and if anyone deserved the moniker of a Celtic Princess it was her. She happily shared her amazing knowledge of the Gaelic and even older dialect of Lindar that she learned and shared with her Grandmother. The stories of her miniature Clydesdale horses.
And then of all she shared her wonderful stories of her ancestors and the Ancient Gaelic Beliefs of Druidism. Thank you Dixie so much for making my wife and I smile so much,
I wish I could relate to all those who haven't had the distinct privilege of meeting such wonderful young lady who possesses such an old soul. I have never met anyone who in an instant seemed to make my wife so glad they had met. I wish I could tell her parents how lucky they are to have such a nice person for a daughter. I know Sue my wife and I are grateful for just the few minutes we spent with her on the picturesque beach at Tokeland.
I have taken many pictures of my wife but none so pretty as today when I took pictures of what I consider two Celtic beauties. Sue is also of mostly Gaelic ancestry and when they were both together it seemed Sue shined with an inner beauty like Dixie did. I'm sorry but I feel somewhat prejudiced. Prejudiced and privileged Dixie shared with us. We hope she doesn't forget us because we most certainly will not forget her. May God bless this young lady and please make all her wishes come true.
